2022-2023 Supplemental EA Public Comment Record

In November 2022, the Oregon Department of Transportation opened their public comment on the Supplemental Environmental Assessment for the proposed $1.4 billion Rose Quarter Freeway Expansion. The agency gave the public a 45 day period to respond to the thousand-page document, and the comment period overlapped with Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Years. No More Freeways worked with numerous community partners who submitted comment before the January 4th deadline, and also solicited hundreds of comments from everyday Oregonians who demanded the agency conduct a full Environmental Impact Statement that studies alternatives to expansion. Listed below is a set of letters from prominent community organizations.

No More Freeways submitted 12gig of files to ODOT for the Public Comment period for the proposed Rose Quarter Freeway Expansion.
