Tubman Rally – April 9 2021!

It’s been such a long, miserable year. But throughout the pandemic and wildfires and our ongoing reckoning with white supremacy, the No More Freeways campaign to stop ODOT’s $800 million Rose Quarter Freeway Expansion in the backyard of Harriet Tubman Middle School has continued to grow and successfully shoot spitballs at this agency and this proposed expansion. With the weather getting warming and many of our friends and relatives getting vaccinated, we’re hoping to gather NMF community partners (outdoors, masked, socially distant!) to share some exciting news with you and talk about our next steps to stop this wretched freeway expansion

This week, No More Freeways joined the Eliot Neighborhood Association and Neighbors for Clean Air to file a complaint and challenge ODOT’s freeway expansion in a court of law.

This is big news! We’re so excited about our lawsuit, which is garnering headlines both locally and nationally.

Help us celebrate our lawsuit by coming to our rally and helping demand cleaner air, climate justice, and a full Environmental Impact Statement.
